I spent the majority of this weekend indulging in a little ‘Me Time’, and it was absolutely amazing. On Saturday, I had nothing on my schedule so I headed over to one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city and did a little bit of exploring.
The West Village has captured my heart since I moved to the city. From the quaint cafés around every corner, to the darling book shops and boutiques, it’s no surprise why it’s a favorite area amongst most New Yorkers.
I started my day with a favorite matcha latte at The Elk, and then spent the majority of my afternoon browsing through some of my favorite book stores and clothing shops. It was the perfect Saturday afternoon in the village. Sometimes we just need a day all to ourselves to clear our heads. No plans, no agenda, just anything you feel like doing.
