Anthropologie Wedges
Ralph Waldo Emerson once said – “Flowers are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty out-values all the utilities of the world.” I couldn’t agree more Ralph. Simply couldn’t agree more! I like to think that maybe this is why I seem to be so addicted to them. (Okay, okay, slightly OBSESSED with them would be more accurate.) I’ve had so many friends mention to me that based on my Instagram photos, ‘It seems as though you really like flowers girl.’ Haha! Yes friends, yes I definitely do.
Moving to New York has been this flower girl’s dream come true. Being able to walk around every corner, and see a new beautiful bodega is a feast for my eyes! My weekends as of late have consisted of Sunday flower runs to prep for the week ahead, and my local bodega on the Upper East Side already knows my name. I feel as if they even know my usual ‘flower order’! White roses to be exact.
Here’s to many more Sundays spent shopping for blooms in the city. ~
