Winter in New York brings colder temperatures, and the temptation to stay curled up indoors in your coziest sweater with a hot cup of tea and a good book. When it’s freezing outside, I tend to gravitate towards cozy cafes, hidden bookstores, and warm coffee shops that are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city and where I’m safe from the cold.
This year, I vowed to myself to get to know my city in a new way, and over the past few weeks since returning to New York from Texas, I’ve been doing a little more exploring and spending lots of time with friends. From a day trip to The Cloisters, afternoon chats over scones and tea at a favorite haunt with a dear friend, checking things of my ‘Must See & Do While Living in New York’ list and trying new breakfast spots in the neighborhood…. I’ve been loving getting to explore NYC even more this winter.
