Tuesday, is almost here!! And, whether you’re planning on grabbing dinner and catching a movie with your love, or drinks with your favorite girls, I’m here to help you get ready for the big day! Plus, a glimpse inside my NYC apartment on the Upper East Side!
I’ve teamed up with Anthropologie to share a ‘behind-the-scenes‘ look at how I get ready for date night! I love taking it easy the few hours leading up to a fun night of events. Whether it’s making a chai tea latte and grabbing a favorite book or magazine to read, watching a little bit of a funny show on Netflix, or lighting my favorite Anthro candle and taking a long bath… I have a certain set of rituals if you will, to help me wind down before leading up to a night out.
After I’ve bathed/showered, thrown on a cozy robe, and touched up my nails and makeup, I’ll start working on my hair. I’ve been all about natural waves and curls recently and one of my go-to tools to help achieve the look is my favorite The 3-Day Bender by Drybar. It’s the perfect tool to master those loose, natural waves and so great for enhancing your hair’s natural texture.
Once I’ve completed hair and makeup, and am almost ready to head out the door, I’ll slip into a favorite dress! For those of you that have been following my blog for a while, you might have noticed that the majority of dresses that I wear are from Anthropologie. Their selection of dresses has always been among my favorites to choose from. This mulberry lace dress is high on my list of must-haves and the perfect option for V-Day!
