I have some VERY EXCITING news loves!! …
I’m heading to Guatemala this SEPTEMBER!!
For those of you who might not know, and now that I think about it… I’m not sure that I’ve ever shared this on the blog, but Guatemala has always been a huge part of my life. Both of my parents are from there, and so much of my mom and dad’s side of the family is still living there.
We used to visit Guatemala almost every year when I was little, and the last time that my brother and I were there was 15 YEARS AGO!! I can’t believe it’s been 15 years since I was last in Guatemala! My parents have been a few times without us over the past few years, but this will be the first time in ages for us to all go together as a family.
Needless to say, we are long overdue for a family trip to Guate.
I’m looking forward to spending time with all of my family there, visiting their coffee and flower plantations, eating all kinds of delicious food, and visiting so many beautiful places while there. We’re staying in the city for the majority of the trip, but we also plan to venture out and stay a few nights in Antigua and visit Lake Atitlán.
