It’s beginning to slowly hit me that I’m leaving New York… I had a dream last night that I was living in sunny Austin, and just love love loving life, but in my dream I was also missing NYC a little on the inside.
I know that I can always come back and visit New York, but a part of me is going to miss having my cozy little studio on the Upper East Side. I’ve become accustomed to all of my favorite little spots in the neighborhood: My go-to Chinese take-out across the street, the Italian grocery store two blocks over where I always buy my favorite coffee, and my favorite flower bodega where I know each time I go I’ll find gorgeous blooms for the apartment… there are so many things about my neighborhood that I’m going to miss!
On that note…I’m definitely planning to make the most of my last few weeks here, but still have SO much to do before I leave!! From packing everything up in my apartment, to selling a few things I won’t need, and keeping up with the blog, plus continuing my work with Anthropologie… someone send HELP please!! This girl is gonna need it!
