The first day of Fall is only a few days away! (September 22nd to be exact.)
I can’t believe how quickly Fall crept up on us this year, but I’m sooo excited for all of the fun festivities, the changing weather, family gatherings, and fun fall style. I also can’t wait to cozy up in my new apartment, start baking all the pumpkin goodies, and transition from Summer sandals to casual booties.
I’m listing 5 Things that are Making Me Excited for Fall below.
1. Fall Florals
I’m a sucker for florals, especially the colors that come with Fall. One of my aspirations for this holiday season, is to create more floral arrangements for both my home, and as gifts for friends and family. There is nothing quite like entering a space with beautiful fresh flowers. It brings so much warmth and effortless elegance into a room.
2. Pie Season
There are two types of people: Those who love cake, and those who love pie. I’m definitely the latter… As a girl raised in Texas, y’all know I’ll never say no to pie, and I’m going to attempt baking my first one solo this year. (Keep me in your prayers!) I want to master my pumpkin and apple pie before it shows up at a holiday party.
3. Sweater Weather
I’m sooo excited for boot and sweater weather this year. I’ve already started to get my closet ready with a few cozy favorites. One piece that has been on heavy rotation already is this Chenille Cardigan in navy. I’m also planning to snag it in nude too. (More of a blush pink in person!)
4. Seasonal Drinks
You can’t do Fall without seasonal drinks. It’s one of the best parts of the season in my opinion! Host a family/friend game night and offer a seasonal specialty cocktail for the group to sip on. On my must-make list this Fall: Cinnamon White Russian, Spiced Pear Flip, Apple Cider Margaritas, & Gingerbread Hot Chocolate.
5. Holiday Parties
One thing that I’m looking forward to the most this Holiday Season is having a bigger space to entertain and host friends and family during the Holidays. I can’t wait to move into my new apartment this Fall, decorate for the season, and put together fun holiday parties and dinners for loved ones.
