I woke up early one morning during my last week in New York, to meet up with Lauren for an early morning shoot in Central Park. The park has always been one of my favorite spots in the city.
While I was in New York, I definitely tried to make the most of the fact that I lived only a few blocks away from the park. I loved waking up early and going for a walk through the park (latte in hand of course!), or picking up a bagel from my favorite local spot, perching myself on one of the many benches, and people watching to my heart’s content.
It was so fun to see people walk to-and-fro, many in a hurry to get to work, others on a leisurely stroll, and some having fun like nanny’s taking the children of the Upper West and Upper East Side on adventures.
There are so many things I will miss about being in New York, and Central Park is definitely one of them. I consider myself lucky to have been able to have the park right next to my little studio. Within such close walking proximity to the park.
I can’t wait to go back again for a visit, a leisurely stroll, and some people watching.
