Suede for Spring

I KNOW what you’re thinking… She’s absolutely crazy for wearing  faux suede during the Spring in AUSTIN, TEXAS!!

But before you freak out, let me tell you a little more about this skirt. I kind of really love it.

Chicwish has always been one of my favorite online destinations for one-of-a-kind pieces that you won’t find anywhere else. (Very reminiscent of Anthropologie styles but for a fraction of the price!) I love their fun take on feminine + classic styles, and their use of pretty florals. (One of my favorite prints to wear! DUH.) 🌸

This skirt (although suede) is a great go-to to have in your closet. It’s not as heavy as you might think, and has such a chic, designer flair to it. I’ve seen so many skirts similar to the one above of this quality, and at a much higher price point. (This one is a steal!)

I love the delicate, floral embroidered detailing on this skirt. It’s such a fun choice for Spring, and will transition very easily into Fall. (I know Summer is barely arriving, but with how fast this year has flown by…Fall will be here before we know it!) I’m already planning to wear this piece during cooler months with a favorite chunky knit sweater or white turtleneck top, and some chic booties.

I’m trying to add pieces to my closet that are a little more transitional and easy to pair with the things that I already own. I’m all about a good curated closet.
