The Cutest Floral Mini: (ON SALE!)

The weather in Austin is beginning to get HOT, HOT, HOT!☀️ I guess everyone here wasn’t joking when they told us to brace ourselves for summertime in Austin. During the day my weather app says it’s 93, but let’s be honest…it really feels like 103. (AND, it’s only the end of June!) Stay tuned to find out how well we do during our first scorching Southern Summer. 😂

On another note, with warmer temps on the horizon I’m beginning to gravitate towards pieces that are breathable and easy to wear in this heat. I’ve added a lot of spaghetti strap dresses to my closet as well as dresses with cutouts like the one above! They’re just so easy to wear when the days (and nights) are hot.

I’m all about easy and effortless style during the Summer. Especially here in Austin. I love a no muss, no fuss outfit that I can easily throw on before heading out the door! The last thing I want to be worrying about is whether on not I’ll be comfortable in what I’m wearing. With this heat, you just don’t want to risk it!

Plus, the less I can wear right now… THE BETTER! But hey, at least I’m getting plenty of Vitamin D which makes up for my forgetfulness when it comes to actually taking my vitamins every morning. (oops!) 😜

I’m such a sucker for a girly, floral print dress too and I just love the floral print on this one. The colors are so pretty & feminine and make this piece a perfect option for daytime fun (drinks or shopping with your girlfriends), or a date night (pasta & wine night!) with your love. ❤️

My favorite date night looks are the ones that I can easily transition from day to night. Being able to wear this dress with flat sandals (like these) during the day while I’m running errands, and then transitioning it for nighttime fun by throwing on some heels for the evening makes it so versatile and perfect for the season!

You’ll definitely be seeing more looks like this one in the months to come! I can’t wait to add a few more pieces like this dress to my closet for the Summer. Summertime in Austin tends to drag out a little longer than in most cities, so here’s to a season of lots of simple Summer dresses, jumpsuits, and rompers! 👗
