SO much has been happening over here lately friends. The past few weekends have been filled with friends that feel like family, so many fun new adventures, and completely packing as many activities as possible into our summertime fun here in Austin. ☀️
To start… our good friends Mary Margaret and David visited us in Austin a few weekends back and we had such a wonderful and refreshing time with them. We ate breakfast tacos, went kayaking, talked about life in Austin and their life in Dallas, did a little thrifting, and just had the best time. It was so great to be able to see them and spend time with them in our new city.
I met Mary when I moved to NYC🚕 a few years ago, and we instantly clicked and became close friends. We navigated through crazy city life together in New York, and I don’t know what I would have done without her there. She is such a sweet and precious friend.
FLOAT FEST 2018
This year marked my first time to finally attend a music festival, and you guys… I LOVED it!!! Nathan, his sister Bailey, and I went to Float Fest together and we had a BLAST!! From listening to some amazing bands (Tame Impala was my favorite), to eating sooo much yummy food, and getting a little to much sun… it was one of the best times I’ve had in a while and I’m so happy that we did it. After it was over I was already telling Nathan we had to go to another one ASAP! 😂
BEST FRIEND TIME
Some of my very best friends (who truly feel like sisters, and technically were through our sorority in college – hi ZTA!👸🏻) were in town the other weekend, and I LOVED being able to spend time with them. Ivy and I both live here in Austin, but Kara and Kristen live in other cities, so anytime that we all get to be together in the same spot is so special for all of us.
I’ve known these girl’s since I was in college and love them so much! We met back in 2007 and have been through everything together. 💕 From surviving college and sorority life to boyfriends, crazy breakups, too many drinks, life, marriage, and getting older… these gals will always be in my life and I am so grateful for them.
NEW APARTMENT
AND, if our past few weekends weren’t busy enough… Nathan and I spent all of this last weekend moving into our new apartment! 🏢 We are loving it sooo much, and have already finished setting up quite a few things in the new place! I can’t wait to show you more photos soon, but in the meantime you can see more of our apartment over on Instagram Stories. ☺️
