September is in full swing, and the weather here in Texas is beginning to slightly turn. (Insert this emoji here 🙌🏻.) The temperature is finally cooling down, and it’s been raining A LOT here in Austin recently. And you know what…I’m kind of REALLY loving it. I’m loving it so much in fact, that I actually wore a sweater for the first time the other day!! A sweater in September in Austin, TX?!! Yesssss… so good y’all. ❤️
One of the things that I miss most about living in New York, is being able to experience and enjoy all of the seasons in their entirety. I miss the way that Summer quickly fell into Fall with the arrival of the changing leaves in Central Park. How Summer dress season soon turned into sweater weather. I miss the way that city goers quickly replaced their regular iced lattes with a little something more pumpkin spice.🎃 Needless to say, I’m wishing and hoping for Fall’s arrival here in Austin ASAP! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the weather stays within these cool temps so that I can start wearing all the cute sweaters and boots. 😀
Cooler temps here in Austin mean that I can finally wear jumpsuits like this one above without feeling as though I’m dying in the otherwise (very) crazy heat! Plus, this jumpsuit has been on serious repeat since it came home with me a few weeks ago. I love the tie waist detail, and how loose and comfortable this piece is. It’s also completely versatile and the perfect jumpsuit to wear for several different occasions. I wore it to a fun work event with heels, to brunch with one of my besties with this pair of wedges, and am planning to wear it to work soon with flats!
I just love it when I find a piece that I can wear several different ways, and with different shoes in my closet. It’s always a win/win in my book! 🎉
As most of you have seen on the blog this season, I’ve gone a little jumpsuit crazy this year! I just can’t help it y’all. There have been so many gorgeous ones out in the past few months, and I can’t seem to stay away from them hahaha. They have honestly become as big of a staple in my closet now as dresses!💕 (Now they’re both in the running for heaviest piece on rotation in my wardrobe.)
