This past month got the best of me y’all. It felt as though everything was happening all at once – from wedding deadlines to work and blog deadlines, along with family and friends visiting us, + a few work trips sprinkled in… the month of February and beginning of March has definitely been the busiest for us in a while. It’s so nice to finally take a step back and slow down for a minute. And speaking of slowing down… that’s exactly what I did this weekend! I took a personal day on Friday and slept a lot because my body was craving it. Slept in on Saturday, and spent most of Sunday at home reading and relaxing.🙌🏻 It was honestly a dream weekend for me, and one I haven’t had in a long time.
Which leads me to say, that all of that resting and relaxing led me to finding some pretty great things online this weekend! I’m sharing 5 things that I’m currently loving with you below. ✨
SHOPBOP’S SPRING TREND EDIT
As most of you guys now, I’m such a sucker for anything and everything from Shopbop. It’s been one of my absolute favorite sites to shop for years! I’m constantly loading up on goodies from them, and can’t seem to stop. 😜For those of y’all that are as excited for Spring as I am, their new Spring Trend Edit is totally killin’ it right now. I literally want everything!

10 EASY THINGS YOU CAN DO FOR A MENTAL RECHARGE
Sometimes we just need to sit back and relax. Busy weeks (or months in my case), call for a big mental recharge. Whether that means laying in bed and reading a good book, take a hot bubble bath (with wine in hand), or going for a long walk… there are so many things we can do to help our minds get a great recharge. The Everygirl lists out 10 Easy Things You Can Do For a Mental Recharge. 🧖🏻♀️
3 UNEXPECTED TAKES ON COLOR-BLOCKING
I’m all for color-blocking, and this article from goop just nails it! They lay out 3 great color-blocking combos to try this spring. I’ve got my eye on the blush pink + bordeaux combo.
BLACKBERRY LAVENDER WHITE CHOCOLATE SCONES
I think I just found a new sweet treat to add to my “must try making this at home” list! These scones (pictured above) have so many of my favorite things: blackberries, lavender, white chocolate😍 – oh my YUM.
MOODY FLORALS
The more inspiration that I continue to gather for our wedding, the more and more excited I’m becoming for all of the florals!! I LOVE a good moody floral color palette, and have tried to incorporate a nice mix of different bloom inspo to send to Kelsea for ideas during our big day. I like to call it “Moody Spring”. 🤣
