WEARING: Anthropologie Cassidy Satin Blouse and Florence Bias Midi Skirt | Tuckernuck Kaitlin Earrings |
Red has always been one of my favorite colors. There are so many things that just pop when they’re in this color: Red Lipstick💄, Red Roses🌹, Red Soled Shoes👠… the list could go on and on. I don’t know about you, but I’m the type of gal that doesn’t ever need an excuse to wear red. (And I definitely always PILE it on during Valentine’s Day, of course!! I just can’t help myself.💁🏻♀️) One of my favorite combos to wear has always been red on red. I LOVE mixing different shades of red or shades of the same color red to create a cohesive and elegant look.
And speaking of red on red, that’s exactly what I did with this look! I love the way that this red top flows. I originally had it paired with a floral skirt (seen here – and also very cute!), but loved it against the polka dot red skirt. It tied the look together with the red skirt and made it look almost like one full piece instead of two seperate pieces.
What are some of you favorite go-to color pairings?
For those of you’ve that have been following my blog for a while (or even if you’re new around here!), you might have already noticed that I’m a huge fan of color. I love bright prints and patterns, and fun hues! I can’t wait to see what other colors I can pair together this Spring.
