It’s time for another Wedding Wednesday, and today I’m recapping our wedding shower in Amarillo last weekend!🥂 We had the most amazing time seeing family and friends over the weekend, and I honestly didn’t want all of the fun to end. From dinners with the whole crew, to impromptu dance parties, lots of wine, and tons of laughs – our family and friends showered us with so many sweet words and an outpouring of love this past weekend. They left us feeling so excited for what’s to come in the weeks ahead. (I still can’t believe Nathan and I are about to get MARRIED. It feels as though it was just yesterday that we got engaged!) Time is going by so fast already.
THE LOCATION:
Our shower last weekend was absolutely beautiful. My mom is part of a cooking club back in Amarillo and her incredibly kind and loving group of friend’s hosted our shower. It was at her friend Pat’s gorgeous home at the Tascosa Country Club. (Her house is just stunning, and was honestly the perfect spot for a shower!!) Everything was wonderful! From the food and the delicious coffee ice-cream punch, to the beautiful weather and sweet women at the shower. It couldn’t have been more perfect. ❤️
THE GUEST LIST:
We were showered and loved on by sweet family and friends in Amarillo! One thing that Nathan and I really wanted during all of our celebrating was to make sure we included everyone in one way or another. Since not all of our loved ones could be in NYC, we wanted to have small little celebrations everywhere. The first one was in Amarillo for our shower! Followed by the Wedding in NYC this month, a celebratory dinner with friends in Austin in June, and a second reception party in Missouri in July for the rest of Nathan’s family! We’re even talking about flying to Guatemala to see the rest of my huge family. (The more celebrations we can keep going the better!! 🤣)

WHAT I WORE:
I received SO MANY compliments on the dress that I wore for our shower, and it’s truly one of my favorites. I immediately knew that I wanted to wear it for this day when I spotted it months ago online. It’s been patiently waiting in my closet since, and I was so excited to finally put it on!! It’s the Go Go Dress by Camilyn Beth. ✨ I’m wearing it in champagne, but it also comes in ruby, black, teal, navy, ivory, red , and a fun floral print.
