When Nathan and I started planning for our wedding, we really wanted to give ourselves a good budget for all of the upcoming wedding expenses. And, as soon as we realized how quickly they were beginning to add up, (location, venue, photography, flowers, flights to NYC, hotel, and additional extras that we wanted for our big day) we knew that we didn’t want to have to sacrifice the wedding budget to make room for the honeymoon budget. We wanted each to be special and wonderful in their own way! Not to mention, since we were planning a destination style wedding we also didn’t want to just leave for the honeymoon while all of our friends and family were celebrating in NYC with us! ❤️🥂

We also have so many trips planned in the months to come! ✈️ A second reception in July with Nate’s family, I have a few work trips sprinkled in, Nathan’s sister’s wedding in August, a trip for Nate’s Birthday in October, and a few other things in the works! Needless to say 2019 has been a crazy but oh so fun year already. 🎉
Which is the main reason why we decided to take a later honeymoon next Spring, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. We cannot wait to have some down time and enjoy married life in one of our absolute favorite countries. We’ve already started planning it too! We’re currently looking into locations, places to see, where to stay, what to do, etc…

We’re heading to ITALY next Spring!!

We’re planning to explore the coast and travel to a few different cities and local villages during our stay. We both went to Italy when we were in high school, but it’s been SO LONG since we last visited. (And we’ve never been together, so it will be so special to explore the city with each other!💕) We would love any and all recommendations you have for us!! Favorite cities, best things to see, where to stay, where to eat, where to shop, we want it all! We want to completely immerse ourselves in the city, and do as the locals do!☺️
