Happy Monday friends!
I hope you had an amazing weekend. Nate and I had such a fun weekend, and it was perfectly mixed with both work and play. On Friday after work, we checked into the East Austin Hotel for a little staycation and it was so AMAZING. It was the ultimate relaxing Friday and Saturday morning. We swam, ate delicious food, walked around the East Side, had great drinks, swam some more… it was honestly the best little escape and the perfect way to break up a busy week. I shared our stay on IG Stories, and am planning to write a full recap blog post soon so stay tuned!
And speaking of busy weeks…in case you missed it, Nathan and I are moving to a new place TOMORROW!! We spent most of Sunday packing up our current place, and putting everything into boxes, cleaning, and getting everything ready for the move. And thankfully, we almost have everything done! There are just a few things that we need to work on this evening, and then we’ll be set for this move. We also couldn’t be more excited to head to Sunset Valley tomorrow. We have absolutely loved our time on South Congress, but we’re really looking forward to a little change of pace along with access to more trails, and pretty neighborhoods to take morning and evening walks in. I’m so excited to start making this new place feel like home for us.
In other news…
Can we talk about this dress for a second? It’s giving me so much summer goodness right now, and I can’t get enough! Most of you already know that I’m such a sucker for vibrant floral prints, and am constantly wearing them. Well, this one definitely takes the cake! It reminds me of something a lively flamenco dancer might wear. You know, if flamenco dancers frequently roamed the streets of NYC. 💃🏻P.S. – it also comes in a beautiful red floral color that I’m so tempted to buy too!
I’m normally not one to wear a lot of yellow, but I love adding it to my closet every now and then. I’m also loving this, this, this, and drooling over this. Can they all just magically appear in my closet please?
Anyway, that’s all from me for now. Back to packing!!
