One way that Nathan and I have been shaking things up during our time at home, is by hosting elevated and fancy nights in (for ourselves)! There’s nothing quite like diving back into my closet and being reminded of pieces that I love and adore that I haven’t worn in a while. I love finding that perfect dress, skirt, or jumpsuit to throw on just because! (Gone are the days of reserving my favorite pieces to only wear them on special occasions or fancy nights out.) The pieces that we love should take center stage every now and again, after all, even while at home!
There’s something so great that a sequin dress does when you slip it on. It instantly boosts your mood and makes you feel as though you can take on anything. (Essentially the same effects that a glass of wine might do too haha!) I’ve realized, that I typically tend to gravitate towards sequin dresses only during the holiday season but am slowly integrating them more and more into my wardrobe for other moments throughout the year. (I might be wearing one for our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary this weekend! *wink wink*) After all, there are so many beautiful sequin dresses to choose from! The possibilities are truly endless.
