Happy Friday, friends! I can see the weekend from here! Every time the weekend rolls around, I LOVE any chance that I can get to get all dolled up. Whether it’s for a fun work or blog event, dinner and drinks with Nate, a girl’s night out on the town with my lady loves, or a fun get-together with friends at one of Austin’s new restaurants. I love any excuse to get dressed up! If you were to actually take a peek inside my closet, most of my dresses fall into the category of cocktail or black tie. (I actually really need to add a few more casual options in there for the Fall!)
Cue the Slip Dress:
I’ve always loved a good slip dress. You can do so many things with them and wear them all year long! You can either dress them up with a glam pair of wedges or heels for a night out, dress them down with sneakers and a cozy cardigan for a day of shopping or brunch with your love, or pair them with a favorite pair of boots and a cozy pullover sweater on top for cooler days! I’m planning to transition my favorite slip dresses into cooler weather with my favorite sweaters and booties.
