If you’re in need of a mini escape…
The other weekend we drove an hour outside of Denver to Fort Collins, CO. It’s a quaint small city up north and only one hour away from Wyoming. (I still can’t believe how close we are to so many states that I’ve never seen before! Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana…Summer road trips are definitely in our future.)
We stayed in Fort Collins from Friday to Sunday and arrived at Edwards House on Friday evening. The most adorable boutique inn nestled near downtown Fort Collins. Our stay at the inn was nothing short of magical, restful, and perfect. Nathan and I stayed in their Collins Room which features a gorgeous clawfoot tub and gas fireplace. Both perfect for a snowy Saturday – which we woke up to the next day! I took 3 baths in 2 days. I wanted to make the most of that gorgeous tub.
peaceful mornings
Every morning that we spent at the inn was such a treat. We enjoyed complimentary breakfast on Saturday and Sunday in the main house (just a few steps away from the second house) which was so perfect to wake up to every morning and a great reason to roll out of bed for. Saturday’s breakfast was the most delicious eggs benny and Sunday’s was a blueberry pancake delight. Scroll through for a few more photos from our relaxing stay. I’m looking forward to visiting again soon.
