I’ve been going through my fall closet, and am already beginning to pull a few different looks for the season. New York threw us a little curveball recently and as soon as it started getting cold it decided to warm up again, so I’ve been making the most of wearing my light layers before the temperatures really drop. One of my favorite ways to slowly transition into fall is with key transition pieces. For example, pieces like a denim a-line skirt that you wear now as featured above, or that you can easily pair with tights, a cozy turtleneck, and flats during those cooler days. An oversized, plaid boyfriend shirt that can be worn alone with skinny jeans during the warm days or with a chic leather jacket in the chilly evenings (loving this one). It’s all about light layers and easy pieces for these next few weeks. I’m really trying to enjoy and soak up this last little bit of heat before I’ll have to be bundled up non-stop!
