Austin, Texas has been really good to me so far y’all.
I was so worried about leaving my little New York bubble last Fall, and very nervous about diving into a new adventure here in Austin. Starting over isn’t always easy. Especially when you’ve worked so hard to establish yourself in one city, only to leave it for another and begin the process all over again.
I’ve grown so much since I moved back to Texas, and have learned a lot more about myself. That’s the funny thing about life… we never really stop growing and learning and thank God for that! If it wasn’t for constant growth, we wouldn’t see constant progress, and we wouldn’t be pushing and working hard to be the best versions of ourselves.
My main objective when moving to Austin was to be closer to my family and to give myself a little breather from NYC life. It’s been a blessing to be able to spend time with loved ones, and truly nurture the relationships in my life that matter most. One thing I wasn’t expecting though, were the ways in which Austin would embrace me with open arms…
I’ve met so many wonderful people since moving here – creatives, co-workers, bloggers, artists, photographers… the amount of talent in this city is incredible. I’ve been so proud of the work I’ve done so far for Anthropologie Austin with the events that we’ve hosted and in helping grow the Instagram account. I’m also very excited for the many opportunities that Austin is throwing my way to continue to pursue what I love most. Blogging. <3
That being said, I am sooo thrilled to announce that for the first time ever in my blogging career I will be speaking on a panel next week alongside some amazingly talented women. I am so honored to have been chosen to share my story, how I started my blog, milestones along the way, and sharing my tips on branding and how to grow a business. I’m so grateful to this city for allowing me to grow even more in ways that I didn’t foresee.
I would LOVE to see you there, and am including all information for you below:
