Summertime in Austin is all about easy, effortless style and nothing screams effortless quite as much as the tank dress.
The Tank Dress is your quintessential Summer staple.👗 It’s perfect for those hot, sunny days and cool evening nights. I’ve been wearing this dress non-stop since it arrived in my closet a few weeks ago! (So funny, how did it get there?!) Best news is, it’s UNDER $15!! The black unfortunately sold out, but I’ve linked similar styles in black above for you. This dress also comes in a pretty red and camel color too! You can find it here.
I’m wearing a size small and it fits me perfect! I’m 5 ft. and typically wear an xs so I think this dress might run a little bit smaller than usual. (So make sure to size up when purchasing!)
I shot these photos with Madeline a few weeks back, and just fell in LOVE with this cute little spot! We initially met in the area to snap photos at Tiny Boxwoods (across from here), and whenever we spotted this adorable little greenhouse we just HAD to walk over and see what it was all about! It honestly felt as though we were in another city. Tucked away in the heart of Austin (not far from UT) was this darling little location straight out of the pages of what you’d find in The Magnolia Journal.
Meet Thompson + Hanson:
A greenhouse so adorable & chic that it will make anyone want to bring out their inner green thumb skills. 🌱(Because trust me, that’s exactly what I wanted to do! Buy all of the plants, and learn all of the things! 😂) Not long after we shot here I noticed that Camille Styles mentioned this spot on her Instagram. (So you know it’s a good one.) – I can’t wait to spend more Saturdays here browsing through what’s new, and adding a little more green to our apartment this Summer. I’ve definitely got my eye on a few cuties from the shop.
