Hi friends, happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great and fun weekend!
One of my good friends from NYC was in town over the weekend, and we had such a fun time! Jenna arrived in Austin mid-week last week for a work conference, and then once it wrapped and she was finished, we enjoyed a little sight-seeing! It was her first time visiting TEXAS so lots of BBQ was involved. We took scooters and bikes around the city, did a little shopping, some Sunday brunching, spent time at the pool, and had such a nice time just catching up.
I love it when friends are able to visit Austin. (Especially all of my New York besties!) It’s been so nice to see most of them here since I moved last year. (The only one needing to visit now is my sweet friend Jennie! Nathan and I are anxiously awaiting your Austin trip girl! 😀) It looks like I might see you in Manhattan first though!…
In case you missed my announcement on Insta… Nathan and I finally booked our trip back to NYC to visit!🗽 We’re going in October and I CAN’T WAIT!!! I haven’t been back to the city since I moved to Austin at the end of last Summer, and I’m so excited to catch up with friends, see some of my favorite spots, and take a stroll through my old neighborhood. It’s going to be such an amazing time. ❤️ Plus, New York in the FALL is pure magic and my absolute favorite season in the city.🍂 – Getting ready for lots and LOTS of photos while I’m there!!
In other news…I’m bringing you a new look today with HATCH Collection. HATCH is seriously one of my favorite shops for effortless, and easy pieces. (I’ve already worn them so much on the blog!!😜) I’m all about comfort these days, and they have the most comfortable jumpsuits + dresses around! I’m hoping to take a few with me on my trip to NYC! 💕
Madeline and I shot these photos at Hank’s (one of my favorite spots here in Austin!). The Planoly Team is actually planning to have a workday here on Friday, and I’m soooo excited. I’ve never had their lunch, and I can’t wait to try it. 😋 (Stay tuned to Insta to see all of the yummy photos!)
With Summer quickly coming to a close, I love wearing pieces like this that I can easily transition into Fall weather. I always have an arsenal of dresses and jumpsuits in my closet that I can pair with boots once sandal weather is finally over.
This jumpsuit pictured above is one of my favorites!! It’s soooo comfortable and the perfect piece to throw on whenever I’m heading in to work, running around Austin, or meeting up with friends for lunch or dinner. It’s such an easy transitional piece, and works well with so many shoes & accessories that I already own. I also love it in black and the pretty rust color! (I’m eyeing the rust one, and hope to add it to my collection of jumpsuits soon!👏🏻)
