Happy Friday!

I hope all of you have had a great, and productive week! My week was busy but also fun, and overall very productive. I was able to tackle quite a few things at work, prep some upcoming content for LM, and planned a few trips for the months to come. (Can’t wait to share more with you about where Nathan and I will be jetting off to!✈️)

It’s been non-stop raining here in Austin for the past two weeks (with the exception of two sunny days this week), and I’ve honestly been loving it. – (Shhh, don’t tell anyone!) Austin is such a sunny city, so seeing all of this rain recently has been so nice and refreshing. It’s also cooling the city down A LOT. The temperature dropped to 75 yesterday, and I wore a SWEATER. Yes… a sweater.😍 I’m so excited that tomorrow is the first day of Fall, and am really hoping that these cooler temps are here to stay. (Please work with me, Austin! 🙏🏻)

My favorite gal Madeline shot this look for me when she was in town from Dallas a few weeks ago. I LOVE it when Madeline visits (I know I’ve said that so many times on here), but it’s honestly so much fun anytime that we get together. Especially when we’re shooting!📷 Madeline is always making me laugh in front of the camera, and she’s never afraid to shoot wherever! We’ve posted up inside so many restaurants, coffee shops, and gorgeous locations all over Austin because she’s always willing to ask and see if they’ll let us shoot inside! (My kind of girl for sure. 😂)

We shot this dress right outside of Perla’s on South Congress.🍹 (Not far from my apartment!) I still have never tried Perla’s, but it’s literally within walking distance of our place so I think Nathan and I might need to make a little appearance there sometime in the near future. I’ve heard that the food is delicious! They have everything from creole oysters, to Texas Gulf snapper, and English cucumber gazpacho. (I’m not even a big fan of seafood, and I’m ready to try it all!🙋🏻‍♀️)

In other news, this weekend is going to be all about PROJECT: ORGANIZATION. Both my parents, AND Nathan’s parents are visiting Austin next weekend which means we might be taking a little trip up North tomorrow to IKEA & the Container Store. I want to do a little more organizing in our closets, as well as in the laundry room. We’re also planning to do a little plant shopping this weekend at The Great Outdoors, and I’m sooo excited! (I’ll share what we bring home with us over on stories!🌱)

Other than that, this weekend will be fairly low-key with the addition of dinner tonight with my cousin and his wife, and brunch on Saturday with my friend Lizzie and her bf.🥂🍳 – I’m definitely looking forward to resting a little too since next weekend is going to be busy, busy with both of our families here!
