Happy Monday friends!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was amazing, and just what this tired gal needed! I was FINALLY able to catch up on a lot of rest, and cleaning which is always wonderful. (Yes… you’re looking at a girl with a very clean apartment y’all.🙌🏻) Nathan and I are leaving for NYC in a few days (YAY!!), so this weekend was filled with laundry, cleaning the apartment, running a few errands, picking up a new coat since it’ll be chilly in NY❄️, and bingeing some of our current fav shows on Netflix. All-in-all it was everything a true weekend should be. 🙂

On another note, let’s talk about all things VELVET. 😍 I’ve been stocking my closet full of all the pretty velvet pieces for this season recently, and can’t seem to stop! A few that I’ve included in my closet so far: this pretty green dress above, this yellow velvet dress, and this velvet blazer in navy. Velvet is such a gorgeous staple during the holiday season, and makes the best statement to a seasonal outfit.

A few other velvet pieces that I’m currently eyeing from around the web include: these Sadie ankle boots, this pull-on velvet skirt, this velvet leopard print top, and this wrap dress.
