One of my favorite things about going back home to visit Amarillo, apart from spending time with my beautiful family of course, is also visiting some of my favorite restaurants and shops while I’m there! I love getting to stop into a few of my favorite places whenever I go home. Nathan and I always like making a list of the different restaurants, stores, and coffee shops that we just HAVE to go to whenever we’re back in the 806. (Some of them are non-negotiable too lol!🤣 Sometimes a girl just has to have her favorite ceviche, you know what I mean?)
And speaking of favorites… one stop in particular that has always been high on my list while at home is 79 Salt. I honestly can’t stay away whenever I’m in town, and end up shopping🛍 there every single time that I drive in for a visit. (It never fails!) I usually stock up on a few different goodies at a time too! This shop has the cutest dresses, tops, and the absolute BEST jeans. (I managed to take 6 different pieces back home to Austin with me this last time that we were in Amarillo over the holidays.🙃 (What can I say, those after Christmas sales got me good y’all.) Not to mention, everything that Ashley has in the store is always SO adorable. I simply couldn’t say no.

For those of you that haven’t heard of 79 Salt before, you’re in for a treat! This quaint little boutique is nestled near one of my favorite coffee shops (Palace Coffee), and is located in the heart of Canyon, Texas right in the middle of the square. This chic & totally darling shop is owned by a sweet friend of mine, Ashley Ramos, whom Nathan and I both know from high school. Her beautiful store is filled with several of my favorite brands including: BB Dakota, Free People, Lush, and so many more. It’s a wonderfully curated store filled with unique and timeless pieces that aim to elevate your everyday style.

Ashley is a wife, a mother to the two cutest little boys, and the bubbliest and sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. She has a big heart for the community, and you can see that shine through in the way that she pours her heart and soul into the shop. Before becoming the owner of 79 Salt, Ashley worked as a wardrobe stylist for Stitch Fix which allowed her to have a keen eye for style and a love for classic + trendy staples. Every time I get to see this lovely lady, and shop at the boutique is a happy day for me. We always just end up chatting the morning away over lattes and lots of laughs! 💕

chatting with Ashley about all things 79 Salt this last time that I was home, and getting to hear more about some of the new and exciting ventures that she has for the store in 2019. (One being an ONLINE SHOP!!🙌🏻) Plus… it’s never a dull day whenever I get to play with cute clothes!
