Nathan and I are already far into the wedding planning process. (I still can’t believe that our big day is only 3 months away!) For a quick update: we did most of the planning early. We booked our venue, photographer, and florist all in the month of November (a month after we got engaged!!). We knew those three things would be the biggest to tackle before the new year so we went ahead and took care of them quickly. I also had a pretty good idea as to who I wanted beforehand, so that was a big help as well. I really wanted to get everything booked early since we’re having the wedding in NYC, and most venues start to book up quickly! (Spring in New York is one of the busiest times for weddings!) We still have a few things that we need to finalize: our band, videographer, cake, menu, and a few smaller things that we can do in the months to come. I did check off one big thing last month though – MY DRESS!! I found two beautiful dresses here in Austin: One to wear for the ceremony, and one to wear for the reception.💫 (I absolutely can’t wait to show you!) xx
In the meantime, here’s a little wedding day advice provided by all of you! I absolutely loved reading through all of your tips and advice for the big day. It’s honestly making me that much more excited for ours. 💕

Oh I totally agree about over planning the photos. I wish there had been more family photos taken at my brothers wedding. Selfish I know, but my dad passed away in 2016 and the last time we were all together was my brothers wedding. Wish there was more photos to look at.
